Rhenyx sends outreach on your behalf, so how you use it affects the people you contact, the mailbox providers we rely on and every other Rhenyx customer. This policy sets out what you may and may not do. It forms part of our Terms of Service.
1. Who you may contact#
Use Rhenyx for business-to-business outreach to people who may have a professional interest in what you offer. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to contact each person under the laws that apply to them.
2. What every message must do#
- Say truthfully who it’s from. Don’t hide or fake the sender’s identity.
- Use subject lines that reflect the content of the message.
- Include a working way to opt out. Rhenyx adds an unsubscribe link and honors opt-outs across all your campaigns automatically. Don’t remove or disable it.
- Include a valid postal address where the law requires one, such as under the US CAN-SPAM Act.
3. What you may not do#
- Contact anyone who has opted out, or try to get around an opt-out.
- Send messages that are deceptive, harassing, threatening or discriminatory.
- Impersonate any person or organization.
- Promote illegal products or services, or anything prohibited by law where the recipient lives.
- Send malware, phishing links or anything designed to collect credentials.
- Use Rhenyx to contact consumers where the law requires their prior consent and you don’t have it.
- Interfere with Rhenyx’s systems, or try to get around sending limits.
4. Laws and platform rules#
You are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to your outreach, which may include the EU GDPR, the UK GDPR and PECR, the US CAN-SPAM Act and India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act. When you connect LinkedIn or another platform, you are also responsible for following that platform’s terms.
5. Sending limits#
To protect deliverability for everyone, Rhenyx sets daily limits for each mailbox and LinkedIn account, and may slow down or pause sending when bounce or complaint rates rise.
6. What happens if this policy is broken#
We may pause sending, suspend campaigns or close your account, depending on how serious the problem is. Where we can, we’ll tell you first and give you a chance to fix it.
7. Reporting abuse#
If you received a message sent through Rhenyx that you believe breaks this policy, write to security@rhenyx.com and include the message if you can.
